What you need to know about staff banks for COVID-19 vaccine hubs

Hello there. My name is Ishani; I'm a GP in London and one of the founders of Lantum. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video.

I'm here to talk about staff banks, and I guess staff banks mean different things to different people. At Lantum, our digital staff banks have been supporting primary care networks, single-site practices, GP federations and larger organisations in integrated care to essentially power and mobilise all staff types for particular services, in everything from core general practice to covid response services and now the upcoming PCN Covid vaccination hubs.

Staff banks work in really three simple steps.
1. Onboarding your qualified, trusted staff: having a single overview; having all of your workforce in one place.

2. Scheduling them into a rota - including very complex rotas and multi-site rotas - or managing cancellations: for example, of colleagues have to self-isolate or they're still qualified to shield.

3. If there are gaps in your roster, staff banks can directly fill those shifts for you.
