She wanted to keep doing the work she loved as a GP, but also have the flexibility to be there for her family. That’s when she made the shift from her salaried GP role to finding locum work on Lantum. It’s a decision that has given her the freedom to shape her career around her life, rather than the other way around. “I use Lantum to find new locum work all the time,” Temi explains. “It lets me plan my life around childcare, daily activities, and everything else. It’s really simple.” This simplicity and control are exactly what drew Temi to Lantum in the first place. “I refuse to work for an agency. They sell a lot of dreams, but it’s just a front to push you into doing what you don’t want to do. You definitely don’t feel like you’re in control.” In contrast, Lantum has given Temi the reins.
