What is favouriting? (for locum doctors)

We want to make Network Locum (now Lantum) the hub for all of locum doctor's needs. Part of this is making our site and mobile app incredibly easy to find jobs. You can already see any available job in your area online and easily apply. One small problem has been having to wait for practice managers to manually review your application before you are confirmed for the job. That's why we've introduced favouriting.

Favouriting allows a practice manager to mark you as trusted. This means that when you apply for a job posted by this practice manager, the manual review process is skipped and you'll be instantly approved. Not only is the whole process speeded up, it also means that you'll be allocated to a job even if there are other applications waiting. This makes it much more likely you'll find work through us.

How do I become a favourite at a practice?

We leave the choice of who to mark as a favourite to practices, so that they can choose only the doctors they really trust to not have to manually review when they apply. Next time you're in a practice, it's a good idea to talk to the practice manager about becoming a favourite, as not every manager is aware of it, and it will save them time as well as benefitting you.
